Decanter is one of the most influential monthly wine magazines published in more than 90 countries across the globe. Its influence can also be attributed to annual competition Decanter World Wine Awards. This competition was organized for the first time in 2004 and ever since then, it has gained reputation in the wine world so every winery now strives to reaffirm quality of their wines through this competition. Wines are evaluated by jury composed of 211 international wine experts and chaired by Steven Spurrier. This year, 14,119 wines from 47 countries, including Serbia, participated in the competition.
