I can say with great joy that activities launched by Wine Identity initiative continue to grow. After a series of workshops, celebrations of Prokupac Day, the moment has come to announce the first Novi Sad Wine Salon that will be held on April 20th and 21st, 2018  at Park Hotel in Novi Sad. More than 70 exhibitors from Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, France, Turkey, Portugal and other countries will present their wines to visitors of this wine festival which will bring together the most important actors of the local and regional scene with several special guests from the global wine scene. In addition to winemakers, there will also be producers of cheese, olive oil and delicacies. Visitors can also attend workshops and masterclasses that will be run by well-known local and global wine experts.

The biggest star of the salon is undoubtedly Rod Smith, Master of Wine, who comes from the south of France and who will present Serbian Chardonnay wines and compare them with Chardonnays from well-known wine regions. Also, for the first time in Serbia, we will present the French organization Wine Mosaic which advocates for the preservation of rare and autochthonous grape varieties of the Mediterranean region. At Wine Mosaic Workshop, for the first time we will have an opportunity to taste wines made from rare French varieties that you don'т оften get the chance to taste. Indeed, real rarity and unique opportunity to taste these wines and understand why it is so important to preserve them. A lecture on wines from Tokaj will be held by wine expert Zoltan Gyorffy from Hungary, while port and dry wines from Portugal will be presented by Joao Alfonso, director of Portuguese winery Pocas Junior. A workshop about Grašac will be led by Saša Špiranec and Igor Luković, editor-in-chief of Vino & Fino magazine. Tomislav Ivanović, editor-in-chief of Vinopedia will show the splendor of Tamjanika. A two-day program of workshops and masterclasses and a large number of exhibitors guarantee that you will find your favorites on the wine scene and at the same time learn something new.

The organization of Novi Sad Wine Salon is signed by Wine Identity initiative, the wine magazine Vino & Fino and the Association of Sommeliers of Vojvodina.
