WINE-MAKING 2012

Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade organized the first regional conference Wine-Making which was held on 1st and 2nd March, 2012 in Sremski Karlovci, where experts, vintners and wine-growers gathered with a common goal to give renewed impetus to vine-growing and wine-making, and contribute to improvement of high quality wine production.

During two conference days, experts and scholars from renowned institutions  tackled topics such as planting and protection of grape vine, wine making technology as well as wine tourism, branding of wine regions and wine marketing. The potential of our local autochthonous grape varieties was considered at the conference as well with this regard.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Republic of Serbia's Ministry of Agriculture,Trade,Forestry and Water Management and the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, as well as the Secretariate for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the Autonomous Provence of Vojvodina.
